For consulting or permanent positions, please visit the Job Board section on our website regularly and apply directly for any positions you are interested in. Please e-mail your resume in MS Word format (.doc) only to jobs@jaguarland.ca
Our specialized land team reviews all resumes received. We would be pleased to chat with you regarding any land opportunities as they arise and will contact you when they become available. If you have the required skill set for a specific position or project we are currently working on, our HR Coordinator will contact you to schedule an interview or interviews and discuss the project further. References should be provided at that time.
References and all other confidential information will be provided and checked at this time.
This process is typically fairly short. We will notify you whether or not we are able to proceed with your application and will submit your resume to our client for their consideration; an interview might be required at the client’s site. We will follow up with you regarding our client’s intentions.
Whether the offer is for a Consulting project or a Permanent position, we will schedule a meeting to discuss all confidential information related to the work, with you. Consulting projects require a contract with Jaguar Land while Permanent employment requires an Employment Agreement with our client.
Submission of invoices and time tracking information to Jaguar Land is completed twice per month. Our on-line time tracking system is user friendly and efficient. Direct deposit twice a month is available for your convenience.
You will be paid directly from our client’s payroll system and of course, government regulations will apply.
No, otherwise you would not be classified as a consultant. However, if the client requires your help on a statutory holiday, yes, you will get paid for the amount of hours worked. For more information, please visit the Alberta Employment Standards.
Yes, this could be discussed with Jaguar Land and our client further.
No. If you are a CAPLA or CAPL member, you could contact them directly to obtain benefits package information. Either organization could help you find what is best for you.
You bet! Bring your best self and depending on our client’s requirements, we will be happy to extend your contract as long as possible
